New York Thrash destroyers Demolition Hammer have been in danger of
falling into obscurity: their last album was released in 1994, and their
recorded output has actually been out of print for some time. The label
that housed their entire
original run, Century Media, aims to rectify the situation with the
comprehensive, two-disc NECROLOGY. Encompassing their three full-lengths
and two extra demos, the track listing includes the band's entire
recorded output. It's a lethal array of post-Slayer thrash--all
insistent beats and cascading layers of charging guitar before slowing
down and stretching out by 1994's swan song, TIME BOMB.

because during that time cassettes we're like 50php each and we
wanted to sell hard times for only 30bux, nobody liked the idea
because other record labels would complain that we're not following
the standard pricing system, as being hardheaded stubborn punx we
are, we disagreed with the idea and continued selling the tape
for 30bucks, we would leave a note inside that if you ever bought this
cassette exceeding 30bucks, please return it coz you've been
ripped off., Musically BFK, made a breakthrough in song
writing and lyrical content for a hardcore punk band in the
local scene, you can feel the anger, despair and emotions

Acme
(from Bremen, Germany) were among the most influential Hardcore bands
of the 1990’s. Edison released their album “to reduce the choir to one
soloist” in 1996, but the recordings date back to 1993/1994, these nine
tracks comprise the entirety of Acme’s recorded career (one 7”, three
compilation tracks, one demo). Presumably the band take their musical
cues from early 90’s Hardcore bands such as Born Against and
‘Protestant’-era Rorschach, but this is occluded so thoroughly by a
dense (funeral) fog of extreme metal, sludge and grind that their
original Hardcore influences are difficult to pinpoint.

Formed
in the winter of 84 LETHAL AGGRESSION was at the forefront of the soon
to be emerging Thrashcore scene. Born of the bands love for Metal,
Hardcore and Punk, LA developed their origional style and released their
classic demo "FTCOTFW" to rave reviews and the delight of the
underground tape trading scene. Within no time at all LA was opening up
on bills with Exodus, Nuclear Assault, Anthrax, Carnivore, Testament as
well as Hardcore acts like Agnostic Front, COC, DRI, AOD, GBH, & the
Accused as well as a co-headlining tour of Europe with Youth of Today
in the winter of 89'. Lethal Aggression has always been an underground
band, and if you missed them the first time around and are a fan of
crossover thrash and groups like S.O.D. and D.R.I., this is well worth
checking out. Their sound is raw, aggressive and energetic with metal
riffs and a punk attitude.

Ollie in one of their gigs, years ago.
