Have Heart launched onto the worldwide hardcore scene in 2006 with the release of their debut full-length The Things We Carry.
The world of hardcore was caught by surprise, and calling the album
“breakthrough” would be an understatement. Reviews were nothing short of
flawless, with Punknews.org saying, “It's impossible for words to do
this album justice.” The album received multiple “Hardcore Album Of The
Year” nods and extensive press recognition such as being named one of
AP’s Bands To Know. The band went from a regional hardcore band with a
passionate following to Boston’s worldwide hardcore torch-bearers that
would play every continent except Africa and Antarctica, selling out
shows everywhere with Bane, Ceremony, Verse, Madball, Terror and even
playing 50,000 person festivals in Columbia with Coheed & Cambria.
